Great episode! I'll be really curious to see how your opinion on this one evolves when you get to discuss Halloween Ends.
My primary problem is that they did so little with the character of Brackett. While I appreciate Charles Cyphers couldn't be running around swinging bats, I felt like it would have made more sense to have him be the leader or at least the primary mouthpiece of the mob, not only for revenge over the loss of his daughter, but because the events of 1978 happened on his watch. I could easily imagine that guilt and feeling of responsibility for those deaths metastasizing into this angry vigilante mentality. I felt like because Laurie protected him, Tommy should have been more focused on protecting her, maybe with Brackett convincing him that the best protection is to take the offensive against Myers.
Anyway, great episode!
